My Michaela

The iPod meme!

For those new readers out there, I'm a bit of a meme nut. I recognize it's a crutch, but a crutch can also be a temporary aid to getting one's self back on one's writing feet again. (Whoa, was that a muddled thought. Sorry.)

The following was nicked from Doc:

Michaela: White, well scuffed and now covered with a boring old white silicon skin, 20G, 4th gen., 2 years old this Christmas Day.

How many songs: 1740

First song: (Crazy for You But) Not That Crazy, Magnetic Fields

Last song: Your Secret (live w/ Howie Day), John Mayer

Shortest: 0:04, Piper Down, Mike Myers from So I Married an Axe Murderer
(I like to have random bits of TV and movie dialogue pop up in between my songs. Except when my Mom's listening.)

Longest: 2:28:30, Napalm and Silly Putty by George Carlin.
The longest actual piece of music is Cafe del Mar, v.4 (1:18:38) followed by a Best of the 80s dance mix comprised mostly of Depeche Mode, Erasure, OMD, Pet Shop Boys and The Cure. Excellent for the gym I must say, so don't judge.

Five most played songs:

Pictures of You, The Cure

Doors of your Heart, English Beat

Got My Own Thing, Liz Phair

A Call to Apathy [tentative title], The Shins

Day Old Hate, City and Colour

First song that comes up on "shuffle": Waiting to Derail, Whiskeytown

Number of items that come up when searching for:

"sex": 4

"death": 2

"love": 105

"you": 252

"me": 423
(Might a trained professional have something to say about this?
Never mind, I already know the answer.)

"cry": 13

Today, we got snow. Technically, overnight we got snow and I awoke to a Winter Wonderland. Since I don't have to leave the house today I'm okay with it, but I may delve more into the official beginning of the season in a day or so.
