To everyone who has actually begun stopping in to read my nattering on a semi-regular basis (yes, I see you!), I wish you a Merry Christmas
or a Happy Holiday of your choosing.
Basically, be happy.

Love.
Laugh.
Spend time with those who mean the most to you.
Eat with abandon.
Drink toasts to everyone you can think of.
Tell a child a wondrous tale.

Forget, even if it's just for a time, the year that has
(finally) passed, and the one that's just gearing up.

Live in the moment.
